Universities in the UK (part 2)
In my previous post I wrote about universities in England.Sot today I'm going to post about universities in Scotland,this very beautiful place
Yep I know,it's like a dream
1) University of Edinburgh
Probably by the most famous universities in Scotland.University of Edinburgh,placed in Edinburgh (capital city), is approached by a hundreds of students each year,has 80 courses and an excellent status among the UK. So be sure in your UCAS university choices this university will be the first.
2) Glasgow University
And here we are with Scotland's largest city and UK's third largest city,GLASGOW.The university of Glasgow is the fourth oldest university in the English-spoken world and one of Scotlan's fourth ancient (1451).It's surely an excellent university with excellent teachers,it's status is very high and students are very happy.
3) University of Aberdeen
Is it just me or universities in Scotland seem like ancient castles? Okay so University of Aberdeen is a public research university.It is founded a bit later than Glasgow's university,1495.The founder is William Elphinstone,Bishop of Aberdeen.It's located in King's College,Aberdeen and with just looking at it you wish to already be there.Students are very happy as they say that teachers are very amazing and there is top quality reasearch.
4) University of St.Andrews
Founded between the years of 1410-1413,university of St.Andrews is the oldest of the four ancient universities in Scotland and the third oldest in the English-speaking world.It's a public research university founded by Henry Wardlaw.The number of students reached 10,660 between the years 2014/15.It's definitely worth putting it in your choices.
5) Glasgow Caledonian University
Glasgow Caledonian University is a public research university in Glasgow.It was formed in 1993 by the merger of Queen's College,Glasgow and Glasgow Polytechnic.It is one of Scotland's largest universities with nearly 20,000 students and ranked among the UK's top 10 modern universities.Nobel Peace Prize laureate Muhammad Yunus was installed cancellor of the University in 2012,as the first non-British figure international figure to hold the office of University Chancellor in Scottish history.It's moto is FOR THE COMMON WEAL

6) UNIVERSITY OF STRATHCLYDE
It's also a Scottish public university and it's located in Glasgow.It is founded in 1796 and named Andersonian University.Furthermore,it is the secons-oldest university of Glagow and third-largest university in Scotland.However the entry in this university is very competitive and successful entrants in 2015 had an average of 473 UCAS points which means that successful applicants to Strathclyde have the third-highest average score in Scotland (IMAGINE BEING IN THAT SITUATION!!!)

1. There are no fees for students of EU,they should apply to SAAS to get their fees paid.
